December 14, 2025

Hello, Friend!

Yep, you got an exclamation ❗️ cos' I'm excited to announce that our 2026 schedule is out and about.

Based on divination, our theme for the year is Generosity, the same as our very first theme in 2016. So we are celebrating a 10th anniversary by returning to Generosity in 2026.

2026 Retreats

We’ll have three retreats on our theme. Retreats will expand on the more eclectic, spontaneous, and transmission-y mode that Shambhavi inaugurated last year.

  • February 12th - 15th: Darkness, Destruction, Generosity - our Maha Shivaratri retreat. This retreat will focus on moving through destruction to gain direct experience of our natural generosity.
  • April 9 - 12: Trika Foundations. Get a whole practice and a complete introduction to Trika Shaivism.
  • July 25th - 29th: Milk, Moon, Soma - our Guru Purnima retreat + Puja + Shambhavi's 70th birthday. Milk, moon, and soma are intimately related expressions of the flow of grace and the encouragement to self-realize issuing fountain-like from the Absolute.
  • October 8th - 11th: Cascades of Generosity - our fall practice retreat. The focus will be on a longer form of Tonglen.

2026 Teaching Cycles

Kundalini, Kriya, and Guru Yoga is a nine-month cycle. Unlike previous teachings where the emphasis has been on individual sadhana, this cycle aims to bring us deeper into the heart of these practices through transmission and more sustained group sadhana.

Words ’n Worship is a monthly gathering featuring deep dives into short texts about view and spiritual life followed by guided practices led by Shambhavi. Shambhavi is hosting this gathering in her new home, and it will also be livestreamed.

2026 Regular Stuff

Sunday Satsang, fourth-Thursday satsangs, and Morning Heart Worship are all happening.

But Shambhavi won’t be planning any other special teachings, and instead will offer them on demand as appropriate.

  • Every Sunday at 3:00 pm Pacific: Satsang + Kirtan with Shambhavi
  • Every Wednesday at 7:30 am Pacific: Morning Heart Worship - Guided sadhana with Shambhavi. Livestream only on Jaya Kula's YouTube channel.
  • Every fourth Thursday at 10 am Pacific: Satsang with Shambhavi
